Come one, come all – the 32nd annual Centreville Day is Saturday, Oct. 19, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., in Historic Centreville Park. The free event is at 5714 Mount Gilead Road (off Braddock Road, across Route 29 from the IHOP) and offers fun activities for the entire family.

Detour in place during paving as part of Route 29 Widening Project
Northbound and southbound Stringfellow Road (Route 645) between Route 29 and Centreville Farms Road will be closed to through traffic Saturday, Aug. 17 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for paving, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
Route 28 and Route 29 Interchange Ramps Nighttime Closures
July 31, Aug. 1, Aug. 4-8; detours in place during ramp paving.
Weather permitting, the Route 28 (Sully Road/Centreville Road) and Route 29 interchange ramps will have nighttime closures Wednesday night, July 31; Thursday night, Aug. 1 and Sunday night, Aug. 4 through Thursday night, Aug. 8 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. each night for paving, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
